About Becket McGrath

Becket McGrath is a partner and head of Van Bael & Bellis’ UK competition practice. He is a dual UK and Belgian qualified lawyer, with over 25 years’ experience in advising on all aspects of EU and UK competition law, focusing on merger control and advisory matters, including complex selective distribution and other distribution-related issues in e-commerce. He has defended companies and advised third parties in the context of antitrust investigations by the European Commission, the CMA (and its predecessor, the Office of Fair Trading (OFT)) and the national competition authorities of the EU. He also advises on national security/foreign direct investment and consumer protection matters.
