About Johannes Grove Nielsen

Johannes Grove Nielsen is a partner at Bech-Bruun and head of the firm’s dispute resolution department. With many years' experiences in maritime and transport law, he is considered one of the leading Danish shipping lawyers, both nationally and internationally. He is known for his solution-oriented approach and deep understanding of the client's requirements. He is an experienced litigator – particularly in the area of professional liability, post-M&A disputes and insolvency matters. He chaired the IBA’s Maritime & Transport Law Committee in 2021-2022 and is currently serving on the Nomination Committee of the CMI. A large part of his practice revolves around international arbitration.
