About Johannes Grove Nielsen

Johannes Grove Nielsen is a partner and department head of Bech-Bruun’s litigation and shipping group, and is former co-chair of the Maritime and Transport Committee of the IBA. He advises on all aspects of maritime, transport and offshore law, and is an experienced litigator admitted to the Danish Supreme Court. He is part of Bech-Bruun’s cross-border insolvency shipping team, and has particular experience with US Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 proceedings. Johannes has led Bech-Bruun’s OW bunker team as it relates to shipping, and has handled many derivative lawsuits. He holds an MBA in Shipping from Copenhagen Business School.
