About Lia Heasman

Lia Heasman is a sustainability lawyer and expert with an extensive ten-year background in sustainability and human rights. Before joining Castrén & Snellman’s ESG practice as counsel, she worked as director of ESG in transaction services at KPMG in Australia. Lia defended her doctoral dissertation on due diligence and human rights in the value chain. Lia has also served as an expert in a study conducted by the British Institute of International and Comparative Law, Civic Consulting, and LSE Consulting on human rights due diligence. In the study, she acted as an expert on Finnish, Swedish and Danish regulation in this area.
