About Ella Mäkijärvi

Ella Mäkijärvi is a managing associate within Hannes Snellman’s dispute resolution practice with extensive experience acting as counsel in numerous high-value international arbitration proceedings, including multimillion and multibillion-euro disputes governed by the laws of various jurisdictions and institutional rules. In addition to representing clients in high-stakes arbitration cases, she regularly advocates business disputes before State courts and has experience in complex assignments in various national court instances, including enforcement and injunction matters related to arbitration. Ella also advises Finnish companies on regulatory questions related to the space sector. She is co-chair of the Young Arbitration Club Finland and is a member of the Finnish Space Law Association.
