Johanna Flythström
is specialised in strategic and commercial intellectual property (IP) and technology issues, with an emphasis on IP and technology disputes and licensing in various technical fields. She has extensive experience in patent litigations before national courts in Finland and the Unified Patent Court, and in co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional disputes. She is admitted to practice in Finland and California. She currently serves as the Second Deputy Reporter General of AIPPI, and has also served as the President of the Finnish Association for Industrial Property Rights. She frequently lectures and writes in the field of IP. Johanna is described as “a world-leading IP strategist” who is “exceptionally talented” and “quick and smart” (Chambers 2024).
