About Rainer Hilli

Rainer Hilli is a partner and leads Roschier’s intellectual property practice, with a high level of expertise in IP matters. He is one of the most experienced patent advisers in the Nordics and frequently advises on complex patent matters, including enforcement strategies, litigation, arbitration, licensing, regulatory and transactional advice. His experience covers multi-jurisdictional patent litigation in the pharmaceuticals, chemicals and telecommunications sectors. Rainer is praised as “a highly skilled negotiator and litigator with excellent understanding of business and global dynamics” (Chambers, 2022). He is a UPC representative and has appeared several times before the CJEU. He is an advisory board member of the European Patent Lawyers Association (EPLAW), and frequently writes articles and gives lectures about patent-related topics.
