About Essi Hietaoja

Essi Hietaoja specialises in banking and finance, capital markets and financial regulatory matters. Her key areas of expertise include complex financial regulatory issues, particularly in banking, payments and insurance. Essi joined Waselius in 2018 after graduation and is a member of the Finnish Bar. In 2022, she also gained international experience through a secondment to a renowned Swedish law firm.
