About Jaakko Huhtala

Jaakko Huhtala was appointed partner in Waselius’ private M&A practice in 2022. He advises both domestic and foreign private-equity investors and corporates across various sectors. Jaakko has over 15 years of combined experience in M&A, corporate and commercial transactions as well as in financial regulatory compliance work. He also has broad knowledge in alternative investment fund management operations and investment banking activities, after having worked in-house in a hedge fund and two international investment banks in Helsinki. He is a member of the Finnish Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers).
