About Maria Lehtimäki

Maria Lehtimäki is a partner in the banking and finance and capital markets team at Waselius & Wist, and steers the firm’s securitisation practice. She is a member of the Finnish Bar Association, and joined the firm in 2012 after obtaining her Master of Laws from the University of Helsinki. Maria has also spent time at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, working on capital markets transactions. She advises market participants on cross-border financing and capital markets transactions and regulatory matters. A key area of her practice is structured finance across a variety of asset classes and industries, including automotive and aviation.
