About Gemma Young

Gemma Young is a partner in Burness Paull’s banking team and is widely regarded for her commercial approach and sector knowledge. Gemma advises financial institutions, corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors and fund managers on a range of financing transactions, including real estate finance, acquisition financing and fund financing. She frequently acts alongside leading City firms on the Scottish aspects of securitisation and debt capital market transactions. Her unique perspective stems from experience working in-house at a FTSE 100 asset manager, where she structured debt solutions to support the company’s financial activities.
