About Benoit Pape

Benoit Pape is a counsel at Gide Loyrette Nouel in the Casablanca Projects (Finance & Infrastructure) team, where he has been based since 2016. Admitted to the Paris Bar, he specialises in the development of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects in Morocco, with a particular focus on renewable energy, electricity distribution, power purchase agreements and regulatory matters. Benoit regularly advises governments, administrative authorities, sponsors and lenders, and has contributed to the drafting of Moroccan legislation on electricity distribution, waste management and industrial zones. Before joining Gide, he served as in-house counsel at Geostock (Vinci group) in the oil and gas sector.
