About Ségolène Pelsy

Ségolène Pelsy is a partner at Gide Brussels who specialises in competition law, with a focus on merger control and antitrust matters. She assisted SNCF on the notification to the European Commission of the creation of railway companies Eurostar and Thalys. She regularly advises companies – such as TotalEnergies, Roquette (agro foods) and MSC (shipping) – on merger control and/or general antitrust and competition law issues in and outside Europe. Ségolène is experienced in cartel procedures and the management of related internal audits and assists trade associations active in Brussels in connection with these. She has gained significant expertise in antitrust and merger control outside the EU, particularly in Morocco and further afield in Africa.
