About Wacef Bentaibi

Wacef Bentaibi has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2005, and is a partner at Gide Loyrette Nouel and co-managing partner of the firm’s Casablanca office. Wacef heads the Projects (Finance & Infrastructure) group and Public Law practice, and specialises in project development and project finance matters in the energy, water, infrastructure and transportation sectors, advising governments, sponsors and lenders in the context of PPPs, BOT, concessions and large-scale project structuring. Wacef is also recognised for his work on regulatory matters and has assisted several public authorities in the conduct of legal reforms in Morocco, notably in the mining sector, in industrial zones and in connection with oil and gas matters. Wacef has been active in Morocco and the wider MENA region over the last 20 years and is consistently ranked as a leading individual in the main league tables.
