Claire Matheson-Kirton is a partner in White & Case LLP’s global debt finance practice, based in the firm’s London and Dubai offices. Claire has considerable experience advising on a variety of conventional- and Islamic-finance transactions with a particular focus on transactions within the jurisdictions of the Middle East and Africa. Claire maintains expertise on a wide variety of debt finance products as well as restructuring in the UAE and KSA. She has been involved in the full gambit of products within the emerging markets sphere for more than 18 years. In that time, she has worked on some of the most innovative Islamic finance deals closed to date.
