He is experienced in patent litigation and counselling (including on complex damages inquiries) – mainly in the pharmaceutical and life sciences field (second medical use, biosimilars, small molecules, DNA sequencing, vaccines, transgenic animal platforms for antibody discovery) and in the fast-moving consumer goods sector. His experience includes litigating in seminal life sciences patent cases that had been heard by the UK Supreme Court (eg, Warner-Lambert v Generics/Actavis and Regeneron v Kymab). Jin’s work in the life sciences field is bolstered by his combined degree in law and pharmacology.
