About Steven Baldwin

Steven Baldwin is a London-based partner in Kirkland’s IP litigation practice who has extensive experience litigating complex global SEP/FRAND and life sciences patent disputes. He is frequently global co-ordinating counsel and has recently been at the very forefront of the developing case law on SEP/FRAND issues in the UK and Europe. Steven also has a particular interest in supplementary protection certificates (SPCs) and is recognised as a thought leader and regular commentator on the topic. Steven’s case experience covers a wide range of technologies, including antibody and protein biologics, small molecules, platform and screening technologies, inhalation products, automated robotics, 3GPP/3GPP2 (and other) wireless and mobile communications, and wider consumer devices.
