Hagen Weiss is a leading lawyer in digital finance and crypto-assets, particularly in matters relating to DLT and blockchain in connection with financial institutions and technology companies, as well as issues relating to the German eWpG, the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, the EU DLT pilot programme and decentralised finance. As a federal official, he has contributed significantly to the regulatory and legal framework for crypto-assets in Germany, at both European and international levels, and is familiar with the technological features and developments of the underlying technology.
