About Ed Devenport

Ed Devenport is the global head of Mourant’s international trusts and private client practice, which covers the Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman Islands, BVI, Hong Kong and London offices. The main focus of Ed’s practice is trusts holding private wealth, but he also has substantial experience of working with trust structures in the commercial sphere, such as pensions and employee benefit trusts. Ed is a regular speaker at conferences both inside and outside Jersey, and has served on various industry working parties considering improvements to Jersey’s trust and fund legislation.
