About Mali Bongers

Mali Bongers is counsel in the Cayman Islands Funds and Corporate practice at Mourant. He advises investment managers, fund sponsors and institutional investors on the formation, operation and restructuring of Cayman Islands investment funds and related structures. His funds practice covers a range of open-ended and closed-ended structures, including private equity, private credit and hedge funds. Mali also advises on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, corporate governance and other corporate matters, including transactions involving investment funds and their portfolio structures. Before joining Mourant, he practised corporate law at a leading New Zealand law firm.
