About Michelle Kirschner

Michelle Kirschner is partner and co-chair of Gibson Dunn’s financial regulatory practice, where she advises a range of clients, including investment managers, investment banks, corporate finance boutiques, private funds and private wealth managers. Michelle has particular expertise in fintech, having advised a number of fintech firms on regulatory issues. Michelle works closely with the transactional team on financial services M&A and corporate deals, particularly investments by funds into regulated firms. She also has experience in areas such as systems and controls, market abuse, conduct of business and regulatory change management, including MiFID II, MAR and the Senior Managers and Certification Regime.
