Tom Whittaker is a director and solicitor advocate in Burges Salmon’s dispute resolution team. He has acted on a number of high-profile technology-related disputes, and advises on commercially significant and complex contentious matters. He is ranked as a global market leader for AI law and has advised and trained public and private sector organisations on AI regulation and risk. Tom regularly writes on AI regulation and law and speaks at industry events. He is the lead author of the public law and procurement law and AI chapter in the second edition of the law of AI practitioners’ handbook.
