Elena Klonitskaya is an experienced international trade lawyer whose practice focuses on EU, international trade/WTO and public international law. Elena has been based in Brussels since 2002 and has been representing clients in international trade, national security matters, investigations and disputes across the globe. Ms Klonitskaya has particular experience in the chemicals, aluminum and steel sectors, having represented major producers in multiple investigations relating to market access and fair competition, subsidies and national security matters. Ms Klonitskaya also has significant experience in the energy sector, having advised on EU regulatory matters, market access, security of supply, market integrity, EU environmental law, technical regulations and standards. Fluent in seven languages, she is admitted in both Belgium (B-list) and Russia.
