About David Hardstaff

David Hardstaff is a partner within BCL’s cannabis team. He has extensive experience in controlled drug licensing and has assisted several companies in obtaining Schedule 1 licences for cannabis-related work, including several cultivation sites. In addition to his licensing practice, he is experienced in advising corporates in relation to POCA and AML considerations, and the application of the criminal law within legal cannabis markets, including in the context of IPOs. Outside his cannabis and regulatory work, he has a busy criminal practice.
