About Bastiaan van Rath

Bastiaan van Rath is a counsel in the Corporate practice at Hogan Lovells Amsterdam. He focuses on national and cross-border M&A transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions across a wide range of sectors. Before joining Hogan Lovells in October 2021, Bastiaan gained ten years of experience at other leading international law firms. In 2018, Bastiaan completed a secondment to a global insurance company, during which he worked as an underwriter covering warranty and indemnity (W&I) insurance for M&A transactions. Bastiaan passed the New York Bar in 2016, and has an LLM from the University of Chicago Law School.
