About Bjørn-Erik Leerberg

Bjørn-Erik Leerberg has more than 25 years' experience as private practitioner with PwC and Simonsen, senior civil servant with the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, and as lecturer. He is a partner and heads the oil and gas team. He advises administrations, NOC's, IOC's and international organisations on a wide range of legal matters from law and business development to negotiation and dispute resolution. He advises on legal aspect ranging from exploration, to development of fixed or floating production of petroleum (including FLNG), sale and transportation of natural gas, and through to decommissioning. During private practice, he has been involved in projects and clients with assignments in Europe, the CIS, Africa, South East Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. He has also been an adviser to the UN on petroleum activities in an international law context.
