About Bjørn-Erik Leerberg

Bjørn-Erik Leerberg has more than 35 years’ experience as a private practitioner, as a senior civil servant, including with the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, and as a lecturer. He is a partner in Simonsen Vogt Wiig’s Oslo office and heads the oil and gas team. He advises administrations, NOCs, IOCs and international organisations on public and commercial law, business development, project development, financing and operations, cross-border unitisations and multi-jurisdictional pipeline projects, negotiations and disputes. He advises on governance; international law; the legal, regulatory, fiscal and contractual aspects of natural resources; the energy value chain from pre-licensing to decommissioning of oil and gas projects; and offshore renewables.
