About Robin Aker Jakobsen

Robin Aker Jakobsen leads Simonsen Vogt Wiig’s renewable energy team and has extensive legal and commercial experience across the energy sector, advising public and private clients along the entire value chain for hydro, wind and solar projects. Robin previously worked at the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and as a lawyer and partner in two major law firms. He advises on regulatory, contractual and grid issues, frequently drafts industry submissions, and is recognised by Chambers Europe. As well as being a regular speaker and industry author, Robin manages Nettportalen, Norway’s legal hub for grid companies.
