About Bijal Ajinkya

Bijal Ajinkya is a partner in the tax and private client practice at the Mumbai office of Khaitan & Co. She is the presiding officer of the firm’s Prevention of Sexual Harassment Committee, and is a leader in the firm’s DEI initiatives. She currently serves as an advisory board member of the ARRA scholarship foundation. Bijal is the first Indian qualified lawyer to be admitted as an international fellow to the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). She currently serves as a Steering Committee member in the Asia-Pacific Wealth Advisors Forum, hosted by Cambridge Forums. She is actively engaged in making representations and participating in consultations with the Indian government on new tax policies and key legal issues.
