About Soham Banerjee

Soham Banerjee is a counsel in Khaitan & Co’s Delhi NCR office, with over a decade of competition law experience across India and the European Union. He advises on enforcement and merger control matters. In 2025, Soham handled over 16 filings with the CCI, including Omnicom/IPG, Multiples’ acquisition of VIP Industries and CoinDCX’s strategic investment from Coinbase. He regularly advises leading financial sponsors, including Blackstone, Temasek and TPG. In 2024–25, Soham secured precedent-setting “no-penalty” outcomes in gun-jumping proceedings for Torrent Power and Motilal Oswal. His enforcement practice includes representing Dalmia Cement, Adani Gas and the BCCI before the CCI and appellate courts.
