About Shailendra Bhandare

Shailendra Bhandare is a partner in the intellectual property (IP) practice group at Khaitan & Co. Shailendra’s expertise covers the entire life cycle of IP (prosecutions, enforcements, contentious matters, management and transactional work). He advises several multinational and domestic conglomerates, including Fortune 500 companies. He focuses on trade marks, copyrights, designs and technology-related matters. He has also advised on IP diligences, patent transactional matters, IP licensing matters, commercialisation contracts, technology transfers, and media and entertainment contracts. He is also part of the firm’s TechReg group. He is actively involved in the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) policy/advocacy initiatives in India, and is the past chair of INTA’s India Global Advisory Council and INTA’s Trademark Office Practices India Subcommittee.
