Pranjal Prateek is a partner in Khaitan & Co’s Delhi NCR office, specialising in enforcement, merger control, leniency and dawn raids. He has acted on several landmark Indian competition matters, including inaugural decisions in enforcement and merger control, as well as the country’s first divestiture case. His enforcement experience spans major cartel matters in the cement, airlines and auto-parts sectors. In merger control, Pranjal has led high-profile transactions including Abu Dhabi Ports’ acquisition of Delanord, Japan Industrial Partners’ acquisition of Toshiba, the IHH/Fortis merger, Manipal Hospital’s acquisition of Columbia Asia, and the merger of Garagepreneurs with North East Small Finance Bank.
