About Jan de Heer

Jan de Heer is a senior associate in Loyens & Loeff's competition and regulatory practice group and part of the firm's project development and energy teams. He advises and litigates on behalf of a broad range of clients, including real estate investors, developers and (multinational) industrial companies, with a specific focus on environmental and energy (transition) regulatory matters. Jan completed post-graduate specialisation courses on environment and planning law (cum laude) and an energy law specialisation course. He is a board member at the Rotterdam Legal Society and regularly teaches at Leiden University, the Law Firm School and Instituut voor Bouwrecht.
