About Chris Duncan

Chris Duncan is a key member of Carey Olsen’s global technology practice both in the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands (BVI). Chris advises on the full spectrum of fintech, Web3 and digital assets matters, including the formation of foundation company structures and regulatory advice in connection with token issuances, centralised and decentralised exchanges, decentralised autonomous organisations, platforms, play-to-earn gaming and, increasingly, infrastructure projects and asset tokenisation. He also regularly assists with Virtual Asset Service Provider registration applications across Cayman and now BVI. Chris is ranked in Band 1 by Chambers and Partners Fintech 2024 Guide and is regularly invited to speak at fintech conferences.
