About Vid Kobe

Vid Kobe is the office managing partner at Schoenherr Slovenia, where he heads the banking and finance department. Vid’s multifaceted practice spans financings, restructurings, distressed assets, and financial sector M&A transactions. He has extensive experience in syndicated financing/restructuring transactions and frequently represents sellers and buyers of bank asset portfolios in Slovenia, Austria and Croatia. Additionally, he advises industry associations (notably, EFET) on netting issues and provides regular counsel to financial institutions on regulatory matters and market entry. Vid holds an LLM from the London School of Economics, publishes on Slovenian corporate finance and insolvency regimes, and lectures on financial contract principles to both financial institutions and law students.
