About David M. Norton

David M. Norton is senior counsel in Allen Matkins’ Orange County office and has been elected partner, effective 1 July 2026. As a member of the Real Estate Group, his practice focuses on the operational execution of complex development projects, including negotiating design and construction agreements and creating repeatable contract frameworks for national portfolios. He represents technology, media and development companies on data centre, entertainment studio, mixed use and industrial projects. David has negotiated major construction agreements and drafted template documentation for data centre developments nationwide. He also serves on the advisory board of the UC Irvine Center for Real Estate.
