About Dan Russell

Dan Russell is a partner in Jones Walker’s gaming industry team, emphasising government relations in the Tallahassee office and focusing on gaming, governmental and administrative law. A board-certified specialist in state and federal government and administrative law, he represents clients in heavily regulated industries before the Florida Gaming Control Commission, the Division of Administrative Hearings, and state and federal courts. Dan previously served as general counsel to the Florida Lottery and Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino, bringing deep insight into Florida’s gaming landscape. He speaks at national and international conferences on regulatory and constitutional issues and is a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law and the International Association of Gaming Advisors.
