Daniel J. McGinn is special counsel in Jones Walker’s gaming industry team with an emphasis on tax in the Tallahassee office, focusing on gaming regulation and legislative advocacy in Florida. He represents clients before the Florida Gaming Control Commission on compliance, licensing and enforcement matters and has been actively involved in shaping the state’s gaming policy framework. Dan has worked on issues related to illegal gambling enforcement, voter control of gaming measures and regulatory modernisation. He also advises private equity firms and operators evaluating investments in regulated gaming sectors. Dan is a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law and the Florida Bar.
