About Mark Williams

Mark Williams is counsel in the business practice at Sandberg Phoenix, where he advises organisations on data privacy, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI). His practice spans compliance programme design, incident response, regulatory investigations and AI governance across frameworks including the CCPA, HIPAA, GDPR and CMMC. When breaches occur, Mark guides companies through forensic investigations, containment, regulatory reporting and litigation risk mitigation. He also counsels clients on the legal and operational dimensions of AI deployment, including governance structures, regulatory exposure and liability considerations. Mark is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and advises on both domestic and international compliance matters.
