About Matthew Fitzgerald

Matthew Fitzgerald is a partner at Phillips Lytle. He is a land use lawyer with experience across local, state and federal permitting levels, and has represented clients across New York State on local land use matters. Matt currently serves as president of the Buffalo Niagara River Land Trust. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County. He is also a board member for NAIOP, Commercial Real Estate Development Association, Upstate New York Chapter. He also served as an adjunct professor at the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning.
