Kaitlin C. Dewberry
is an associate at Poyner Spruill. Her practice is focused in the areas of employment law compliance and litigation. She represents employers in litigation under all federal and state employment laws, including cases involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour issues. She regularly advises and defends clients in the full range of employment-related issues, including discrimination, retaliation and harassment, wrongful discharge, Fair Labor Standards Act, workplace privacy issues, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. She also reviews and writes employment contracts, policies, and handbooks. Kate is a member of the Wake County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association. She is a certified Yellow Belt in Legal Lean Sigma by the Legal Lean Sigma Institute®.
