About Ilene Froom

Ilene Froom is a financial markets and funds partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. Ilene is a trusted adviser to buy-side and sell-side clients, including banks, hedge funds, mutual funds and corporations, focusing her practice on derivatives and other trading products. Ilene counsels borrowers and lenders on newer reference rates, such as SOFR, in loans, derivatives and other agreements. She has extensive experience in transactions across a variety of asset classes and regulatory documentation, including equity, fixed-income and foreign exchange derivatives. Additionally, Ilene has negotiated and advised clients on several global equity swap MCAs, equity option MCAs, long-form Confirmations, ISDA Master Agreements and other trading agreements.
