Helen Christakos leads A&O Shearman’s US data privacy practice, and has broad experience spanning transactional, counselling and contentious matters. She provides cutting-edge legal advice through high-end privacy, AI and data security experience combined with a business-oriented approach. She has significant experience negotiating privacy, AI and cybersecurity issues arising in the context of M&A, private equity, financings, IPOs, SPACs, asset purchases and other commercial transactions; product counselling, namely developing products and services that comply with privacy, AI and data security laws; and developing privacy, AI and security policies.
