About Astrid Ablasser-Neuhuber

Astrid Ablasser-Neuhuber is the head of the firm’s competition & antitrust practice, and has been involved in almost all the important cases in Austria in recent years. She has been practising EC competition law in Vienna/Brussels for over two decades, and has extensive expertise in national and European antitrust and merger control law, representing clients in antitrust and merger cases before the Austrian and European competition authorities and before the European courts. She has previously worked with several antitrust authorities, including the European Commission/Merger Task Force in Brussels. Astrid is a member of the board of the Austrian Federation for the Protection of Intellectual Property (ÖV), vice-president of the Competition Law Commission of the UIA, and a member of Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht, the Vienna Bar Association and the LIDC.
