is head of bpv Huegel’s competition and antitrust practice and has been involved in almost all the important competition and antitrust cases in Austria in recent years. Astrid has practised EC competition law in Vienna/Brussels for over two decades, and has represented clients in antitrust and merger cases before the Austrian and European competition authorities and the European courts. She has worked with several antitrust authorities, including the EC/Merger Task Force in Brussels. Astrid is on the board of the Austrian Federation for the Protection of Intellectual Property, vice-president of the Competition Law Commission of the UIA, and a member of Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht and the LIDC.
