Michael Huertas is a partner and the Global and European Financial Services Legal Leader at PwC Legal. He advises banks, investment firms, asset managers, financial market infrastructures and other market participants on derivatives and structured finance transactions, including trading documentation, collateral, clearing, margining and close-out arrangements, as well as the application of EMIR, MiFID II, BRRD and related regulatory requirements. He is a solicitor advocate in England and Wales, a solicitor in Ireland and a Rechtsanwalt in Germany, and is a member of the relevant English, Irish and German professional and trade bodies including ISDA and the Bankenverband.
