Jeffrey Plotkin
practises in securities enforcement, internal corporate investigations, complex private securities litigation and arbitration, and white-collar criminal defence, representing broker-dealers, investment advisers, securities professionals, public and private companies, independent audit committees, corporate officers and directors, and institutional investors in adversarial matters. Previously, Mr Plotkin was with SEC’s Division of Enforcement, New York Regional Office, serving as Staff Attorney, Chief of the Branch of Broker-Dealer Enforcement and Interpretations and Assistant Regional Administrator. The former co-chair of the Securities Subcommittee of the NYSBA’s White Collar Criminal Litigation Committee, and the principal author of the Committee’s report on criminal prosecutorial discretion in insider trading cases, he is currently chairperson of Connecticut Legal Services, Inc.
