Kevin Barnett is counsel in BakerHostetler’s government contracts practice, with 14 years’ experience in Chamber’s top ranked groups. He litigates bid protests and assists clients responding to performance issues, defending against terminations and asserting claims against the government. He has helped countless companies expand into the federal marketplace with a solid foundation for their compliance obligations and is experienced in conducting internal investigations assessing the adequacy of existing compliance systems and developing ethics and compliance programmes. Kevin counsels clients on evolving and increasingly important cybersecurity requirements imposed on government contractors, including the DOD’s latest proposed Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) rule.
