Nuno Lima da Luz is a senior associate in the technology and digital media department at Cuatrecasas. He specialises in blockchain and virtual assets, telecommunications regulation, privacy, and data protection. Nuno has extensive experience advising companies operating in the Web3 ecosystem and assisting clients in the development and implementation of blockchain-based solutions, including asset tokenisation projects, ICOs, IDOs, NFT marketplaces, and smart contract frameworks. He also advises on the regulatory implications of these activities, including compliance assessments and registration procedures before the relevant regulatory authorities. His sector experience spans banking and finance, insurance, healthcare, and telecommunications. Nuno serves as President of the Portuguese Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies Association and Vice-President of the Portuguese Bitcoin Institute. He is also a visiting lecturer on several postgraduate courses.
