About Samuel Masur

Samuel Masur focuses his practice on energy litigation, general commercial litigation, energy contracts, and exploration company, general business and oil field service company acquisitions and divestitures. Sam litigates energy and general business contract disputes involving leases, overriding royalty interest agreements, joint operating agreements, participation agreements, IADC drilling contracts and partnership and limited liability agreements. He manages asset-based and stock-based acquisitions and divestitures for energy, chemical, and oil field service companies. He has represented landowners and developers on carbon capture projects and on solar projects. In connection therewith, he has negotiated and drafted complex land use accommodation agreements, transportation and storage agreements, and development agreements.
