Fiona W. Ong
is a partner at Shawe Rosenthal and defends employers in court and before federal and state agencies. She advises managers and human resources on a wide variety of personnel matters, including reasonable accommodations and discipline. She prepares handbooks, policies, and employment agreements, and conducts training for supervisors and employees. Fiona is the Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s General Counsel and co-chairs its Employment Issues Committee. She is the editor of the Maryland Human Resources Manual, published by the American Chamber of Commerce Resources; she is also an experienced speaker and has written extensively for numerous publications.
