About Fiona W Ong

Fiona W Ong is a partner at Shawe Rosenthal LLP and defends employers in court and before federal and state agencies. Fiona advises managers and HR on a wide variety of personnel matters, including reasonable accommodations and discipline. She prepares handbooks, policies and employment agreements, in addition to conducting training for supervisors and employees. Fiona is the Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s general counsel and co-chairs its employment issues committee. She is the editor of the Maryland Human Resources Manual and an award-winning and prolific author of legal articles for various publications, as well as being an experienced speaker.
